Affordable senior housing is designed to help low- and moderate-income seniors live independently in their own homes or apartments. These affordable units typically offer rent that is below the market rate and may also include amenities such as on-site laundry facilities, transportation services, and social activities.

To be eligible for residency, applicants must be at least 62 years of age or have a qualifying disability. Additionally, residents must meet income requirements set by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

If you are interested in becoming a resident of our community, the first step is to fill out an application. You can fill out our online application, or you can pick up a paper application at our leasing office. Completed applications are placed on the waiting list by AMI level and bedroom size requested in order of recorded application date and time. Screening will be conducted in accordance with the eligibility requirements and criteria in this Tenant Selection Criteria. Changes to the Tenant Selection Criteria will occur as necessary at the discretion of Management. All changes will be posted in the policy binder in The Remington’s Office.

  • Does the community accommodate changing care requirements?
  • What activities are organized?
